Our Celtic wedding bands are inspired by the highly-skilled workmanship and art of the ancient Celts. Arriving in the British Isles and Ireland around 500 BCE, they excelled in metalwork as shown in early weapons and jewelry designs. Fashioned in gold, silver, and bronze, these designs displayed many semiabstract and complex interlacing patterns. Celtic art flourished with the coming of the Christianity producing sculpture, such as stone crosses, and manuscript illumination. The spiritual beliefs of the Celts were in harmony with nature, their use of perpetually flowing knotwork symbolizing eternal life, and unending love
